It looks as if it's designed to still allow enough head room for the rear seats so it probably has enough clearance to not clash with a roll cage either.

I've emailed him to get a figure for the weight of it, I will post it once I get a reply.

That rear seat is now useless in this pic. Look at where the B-pillar is. That where your head is BEHIND.

We need weight savings at the FRONT of the car, not the back. The back is already easy to lighten. Things like alighter bumper, no headlights, moving the power steering pump to the back, etc are what is needed for weight reduction. Hell, I could lose 30 pounds easily. I'd look a bit gaunt, but I'd be faster!

i have an extra hatch, but i think we need CF if its going to be lighter!!

by the way, who cares if we are already light in the back. weight is weight. you dont see mark anderson and I adding weight to the back to make the ratios 50/50 do you?? ill make the rear or any part of the car , as light as possible, and then deal with the handling later.

Less weight = better acceleration, easier on the brakes, etc...

Weight ratio is of lesser consideration.

I disagree. While total weight is a major consideration, to upset the balance of any vehicle only prove detrimental to the handling characteristics.
