What Body Parts Do You Want?
What body parts would you like made in fiberglass, for your 928?
Stock parts?
For lighter, and possibly cheaper replacements?
Or custom parts, like s2 to s4 conversion kits, or Jacquemond style stuff?
Fender flares?
You can vote on any part, or option, that you would actually seriously consider buying.
That way, the shops that do this work, can see how many people would like what parts...

The '82- '86 Toyota Supra's had a spoiler that was attached to the top of the rear window. I loved that car and this spoiler really made the whole thing. I'd be interested in a very similar spoiler for my 928.

I would like to see some modification to the fenders to make the openings round instead of squared. Maybe filling in the corners somehow. I don't like to be able to see past the wheel into the fenders. It is always dirty under there and that makes the car look older.

Lou, I've seen that. It is pretty cool, but it is more of a cover for the top 1/5 th of the window. The Supra's had a real spoiler, and the side supports had a cool angle. I'd prefer something more like this.
Andy posits rounded wheel openings; good idea. Again, I refer to the '82-'86 Supras. They had huge wheel arch extensions that looked great. I'm sure something like this could be done for the 928, though I'm not sure that I'd do this to my own car. The 928, in my opinion, looks best with a smooth body profile. Extensions would ruin this. Cutting the wheel wells to a rounded shape would emphasize the wheels, and you'd have to lower it to make it work. Since this car is all about its muscular yet smooth body, I think this would wreck Tony Lapine's whole effect.

Norm,
I have thought idly about the same type of spoiler.
Said spoiler would attach to the the load-bar (bike rack) mounting holes.

Add a selection of clear lenses to the list.
edit: oops..just saw FIBERGLASS.
anyway, my wish...
Front turn and front and rear side markers. Thats IT. With an opaque type finish so you CANT see the bulb but you do see the color of the light when its illuminated.
No clear..chromed..round..see the bulb taillights..PULEEEEASE!!
The 928 tail lights(ALL YEARS) , are part of its character and probably one of its most distinguishing features. Leave them the way they are.

Yeah...
I think a one-piece front end would be an amazing way for the racers to save weight.
But it would probably not be cheap, since it would need to have a lot of bracing, etc...
I also agree that some simple flares would be nice.
Like the metal ones Devek sells, but in fiberglass, and for both front and rear.
Something subtle, that does not ruin the shape of the car...
Maybe make molds from the GTS fenders?

A i R , american international racing (california) makes hoods , front rear S-4 covers , front fenders and various body kits . Infinite Fiber works (Ohio ) has hoods, fenders , GTS rear 1/4 panels in glass . The STOCK fenders hood and front cover really weigh very little . I have glass fenders on my future widebody track car only because they are easy to modify not because of any weight savings , GTS glass 1/4 which I then flaired some more . I have way too many hours spent fitting fiberglass .... plus fiber glass bumpers really do not do well on the street ..

Yeah, the aluminum front pieces are really light. It'd be wheel fit that'd make them better.
One thing that would be cool is a front spoiler (early or late) that was lower and had a splitter on it or a planned way to mount one.

I would like a rear hatch top spoiler like this one. Or maybe incorporate it into a custom one-piece fibre-g hatch. Smooth out the curves/edges to make it appear less intentional. Coool.

When I mentioned a front spoiler, I was thinking of something like that Escort front bumper thing from the UK... Something to replace the damaged spiler, but something not as low, but smooth, and fits the lines of the car...
