Tie rod issues?

Kind of embarrassing that those limits turned out to be tie rods!

If your mechanic is worth his salt he will have those things off and replaced for US$50 or whatever. Screw the rack up yourself and then have to replace it because it is not rebuildable and how many $$'s go down the toilet then?

Picked up the car yesterday, and I have to say...what a difference! No more shimmy in the steering. I now have Bilsteins rather than worn-out Boges, and it feels properly firm and sporty now. Probably less "GT" than it did with the Boges before they were used up. I can definitely feel the road but I don't mind that.

I also had him replace my old cats with the X-pipe that was sitting in my garage. At idle or low cruise, it's still quite mellow with no additional drone, but as soon as you open it up and drive in anger...holy crap! Ha ha I love it. Not sure my neighbors will, but as long as they don't **** me off I'll be gentle around the neighborhood.

I'm poor now, but happy
