Font Engine Harness Replacement
I am in the middle of replacing my engine harness. I have all the connections removed. However I can't figure out how to remove the harness from the clamp on the left cylinder bank, where the harness passes through the timing belt cover. How do I get to that clamp do I need to remove the timing belt cover?
This photo shows the harness entering the timing belt cover.
This shows the harness clamp from the underside.

Undo the bolt holding the clamp to the block and remove the harness. The head may be covered in grime but it is accessible through the window in the timing cover.

Thanks for the tips folks, I was able to get the clamp out and with that the entire harness came out. I used string chasers to help feed the new harness into position. I have the harness all fed into the respective locations. However, now I can't remember which way to position the clamp behind the cam cover. The clamp is D shaped. Do I face the D towards the front of the car or the rear? I tried the latter but could not get the bolt lined up correctly, it was a real bitch trying to get the clamp closed and getting the bolt in. I was unsuccessful
I am thinking of replacing all 5 D clamps on the harness. Does anyone have the part numbers or specs on those?

They are called rubber sleeve p-clamps. If they are not too corroded you can find a size spec on the band. It'll be 22 or 28 or something like that.
New ones here or search for alternative suppliers.
The bolt head goes in the corner of the 'P'.

I do the D facing the rear, but I use new clamps also that are a tad larger than the factory ones. Makes for ease of install.

The factory clamp is a Normaclamp, size 22. Agree with Sean that a 24 or 25 will make life easier.

The kicker is some of these P-clamps are a standard width with an oversized bolt hole to meet what the Porsche engineers spec'ed. I replaced a bunch with new SS clamps from Belmetric, a metric fastener supply house, when I did my engine swap this winter. In some spots I ended up having to re-use the old clamp with new rubber liner harvested from standard size clamps. The PET isn't very specific on these clamps so ordering the correct replacements from Porsche can be a crap shoot.

P Clamp reinstalled.
Thanks for all the helpful suggestions everyone. I was able to get the clamp reinstalled. It took a while and a bunch of fiddling.
Sean your tip to point the P toward the rear really helped. Also forming the bracket on something round like a 17mm socket also helped get the correct shape such that the ears of the clamp were closer together thus aiding in getting the bolt lined up with the hold. I found it best to work from the underside.
Next up connect all the terminals and the under car clamps.
I was able to reuse
