Thanks for all the great feedback, opinions and pictures. I went home last night and sat the old Pascha in place to see how it looked. I like it but it's such a different look. Changes the whole character of the car. Jury is still out for me but I am leaving towards it. Also, for others who consider original Pascha. Man this stuff gets weak with age. These seats were removed from a car and stored in climate controlled storage for the last 12 years. Look at them wrong and they rip!!

Leather. Easier to care for, holds up better, doesn't absorb smells, and doesn't shock you in the winter when you slide out of the cloth seat and then touch the car.

I knew my opinion would be in the minority though since my car also doesn't have a roof - LOL.

For pascha lovers, Jerry Feather's laser inscribed pascha pattern on leather - best of both worlds.

Thanks for the credit, but it is not deserved. I think you are referring to Paul C's pascha leather.

This thread does bring up a suggestion that my upholstery buddy, Doug Corson, here in Grand Junction, suggested for my Radical Custom 928, and that is to adapt his concept of a "Transforming Interior."

In my case it would likely involve transforming the seat inserts and door panel inserts from the red leather I plan right now to pascha, but only if I might find some in red and white. He has done this kind of interior a few times in the past, and although it will take some engineering and fabrication work, it will give the benefit of having either one at any given time.

Of course you're correct that it was Paul that did that beautiful work, like in Tony's old car. Thanks for the correction.

I love Paul and Jerrys work really wanted to stay stock in appearance on this project. I installed the old Pascha seats and stared at them over the past two days. Drove the car to work yesterday. I must admit that my entry and exit is less graceful as those cloth seats and like velcro

I like them. I like them best when I am in the car as it really brightened up the interior. As crazy as it sound, I think new leather would have made the rest of the interior look old. I am hoping the vintage look of the beige and black Pascha fits right in.

order being placed now.

Rob sent me a sample. Looks great but color on the tan section is not quite the same. I think it should match okay but the color is definitely different.

I've embraced Pascha literally since the beginning of Pascha. Interesting that it quickly went out of fashion much like the tartan seats, then has come raging back in recent years along with the brighter 70s colors. As the current steward of the some pretty good original Pascha seats I still love them, but I fear they are in danger of being overdone. (Think SS emblems on old Camaros) I've already seen requests for "Pascha on the build sheet" over "Pasha in the car" The beauty in the 928 Pascha execution is the ability to swap it out in about an hour. So it's simple, build two sets of seats!

You make some excellent points. While I would never present my car for something it wasn't, I can't find anything on my window sticker that indicates the interior selection. The only option listed is the right side mirror at 95.00. I don't have a COA and am curious as to what it would say.

With that said, my Pascha love started when as a boy, my brother has a 944 poster on his wall with the Pascha interior. Stuck with me.

I do plan on having a leather bottom made to male my old set of seats whole. I can't imagine it will match real well but got to give it a try.
