Hi Seth-

Yes, high-precision installer. I was afraid to bang on it with a BFH, my preferred weapon of choice for most assembly work.

More brutal if it just flattens some bearing rollers and doesn't actually break.

I watched a "mechanic" use a BFH to remove some lug studs on a FWD 'murican car, rather than pulling the hub and using a press. Bearing rumbled within a week of driving. Moral: Don't hammer on bearings! Some gentle tapping with a small hammer is OK, a plastic mallette better, etc.
