Gerry .........correct . You might get the book about Bosche fuel injection it has a lot of detail about the different types of injector . If you do add boost depending on how much you might need to add some type of "piggyback" fueler . But the original 911 turbo (930) for many many , years WAS A CIS system . The 934 race cars ....CIS . It is not a bad system at all .

Gerry, I seem to remember mention of this SC MB, I'll do the search, thanks! However, should I decide to use it as a DD, I will most likely drive it in stock form, for a while at least

I totally agree Jim, the air flow meter is mechanically connected by an arm to a plunger in the fuel distributor.
Every one is always talking about increasing fuel flow when performance enhancements are made, so I thought a R/R Fuel Press Reg was called for.
But now I am beginning to beleive that the CIS system will automatically take care of the increased need for fuel flow with existing pressure, under LOAD.
I really do need to get an A/F Ratio Meter to be sure.
Anyone recomend a good one?
I have two Bosche books and I had the Big Blue Bosche book, but I left it in a hotel one night.
I hate when I do that.

strip car and paint (color change). Including glass removal, new windshield, interoir removal, rubber trim replacement. repair interior warped quarters and possibly die interior leather and carpet original color.
Suspension upgrade, re-finish wheels.
Oh, yeah, I have a 924S that needs complete suspension upgrade, wheel and tire replacement, brake upgrade, motor mounts, rod bearings, possibly repaint in time for March autocross test and tune.
whew.

Reg,
Uh OH!
Gerry, You and Shane are a TIE.
UK KID,
Is you crazy?
Steve,
RE: TT bearings, take pics.
Jim D,
RE: Suspension mods, take pics.
Greg 86.5,
Jesus...
I'm with Curtis...what winter?
59 F in the shade with a 15mph wind...my sprinklers are still running and I have to mow the freakin lawn!
BUT,
1. Adjustable front perches. Check all springs for sag, new shocks.
2. Wheel bearing inspection.
3. Buy or fabricate a new belly pan.
4. Motor mounts
5. New pod board.
6. TT inspection
7. Paint window trim.
8. Fabricate a mount for a chev.alt., install same.
9. Modify spare runners, plenum, powdercoat same.
10. New cap, rotor and wires.
11. Murph's SC - 4 -7 lbs of boost, when developed for the now infamous,
Porsche Special Edition ' Langsum, Bitte' 4.5L 16v crowd.
More than enough on my plate.

@Shane
i've got an 86.5, so it should be a decent test to make sure everything is still good on the older cars.
I've worked with him on his car, and i must say - the kit is very impressive. Definately worth the money. He just got it setup with a newer manifold design and a much better intercooler. This thing should kick even more *** very soon...
