Default 924 Race Build *heavy pics!!*

Well Guy's,

The time has come to build myself a proper race chassis to take all the various mods i've built into my orange 931.
I managed to find myself a mint 1985 non sunroof 924 donor shell, which is now at the fabricators.
As you can see, the shell has been acid dipped, and is in fantastic condition.
The seam welding has started, as has the cage install. There is stil a lot of cage to go in before she goes on the flip rig, so all the cutting & welding can be finished. This is so the shell is sufficiently strengthened before being turned over, as she may twist if this is done too early.

Hi Guy's,

Sorry for the long wait!! I'm currently working in South Africa, so things are going slowly.
Here's a few more pics of the work done so far..

Hi Bass, I was wondering why you decided to stay with a RHD? have you got another solution to the brake MC mounted on the left?

Steve, are you out there? Working in South Africa. What, you lose a bet? Sorry O.T. but...oh never mind.
Anyway, your build is fantastic. Hope to see some more progress soon.
