I don't really like the look of widebody 928s. From the front and side they look great, but when you look at them from the back they just look fat-assed and stupid.

sorry, but the sharp angles added on to the car do not flow with the original curves.
Therefore it does not look "right"
Porsche, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Bmw, Audi all became styling icons through simple understated design, elegant purposefull form follows function.
Pontiac will never be known for this, nor will this cars designer.

That's a kit from Koenig Specials of Munich in Germany...look under History and you will see another picture of the same 928.
Their 1980's period was very extreme and included some very interesting cars such as a street-legal Porsche 962 and 1000hp Ferrari Testarossa twin-turbo.

I love the rear fender (wheel well)- how it's curved around the wheel- never liked the shape of the regular 928 wells- OR the 944's actually- I want slightly larger RD rears to fill out my 951's- just doesn't look right otherwise- it's b/c of the way the fender sticks out I THINK- 3D effect- I just found a pic on Powerhaus site- 951 w/18's- was lowered just a TINY bit- it looks GREAT- not sure what the RD is, but can only assume a bit larger from the looks- most people actually REDUCE the RD when running 18's which exxagerates the negative look. People talk about lowering the cars to help, BUT it really doesn't IMO. Plis, VERY FEW 951 owners lower their cars as much as they think- when people claim 1", they're usually getting about HALF that from what I've seen- I've heard of as much as 4"- would be impossible w/out doing something (REMOVING?) the underbody chin panel, etc- I HATE having to worry about scraping stuff in everyday driving- too bad the all normal roads aren't maintained like one BIG race track across the world...
Sorry for the tangent- just misc thoughts as I've been worrying a lot about this since I just ordered new susp, etc... In any event- I like the 928 above, overall- not sure about the sharp wedge coming into the door w/the notch-out at the bottom- I don't DISlike it, but I think it could be a little less aggressive...
