Intake Manifold Gaskets

I replaced my intake manifold gaskets a few weeks ago however today I had to remove the intake again to replace the CV and was wondering if it is absolutely necessary to get new ones. I only did 90 to 100 miles on them and I want to get the work done today but no one has them in stock. The old (new) ones came off fairly easily only sticking in a few places but the paper did not rip. Thanks.

I think you'll be just fine. You might as well give it a shot anyway - beats waiting a week for new ones. But order the new ones anyway since they're so cheap. I always keep a few sets handy so I can pull the intake any time I feel like it. But I don't remember ever finding the old gaskets unusable except the first time I did it, which might have been the first time the intake ever came off.

put a little grease on both sides of the gaskets and you can reuse them 100 times, they'll never stick. I've had the same intake gaskets on my 951 for years and the intake has been off that car no joke at least 30 times with these gaskets and they still look new after thousands and thousands of miles.

The gaskets are supposed to crush a little bit when the bolts are torqued down to seal.
So you "should" replace them...
But I have reused them a few times without issue. Grease or even a light coat of oil works...
