I'm using Bosch Excel 18" (or 19" I forget) and they're fine.

I've not been able to get anything but BOSCH wiper blades to even fit the 944 wiper arms.
Something about them seems different...even though the "clip style" looks the same.

I once had a Michelin brand expensive wiper fly off at 80mph

I'm using 18" Anco's front and rear. They fit the arms perfectly, and they work good also.

Don't use the mono blade style blades and put a little bend back in your arms if needed, they can flatten out over time making the spring tension less effective.

These get replaced every 6 months, soooo made in china doesn't really matter.

This is pretty much what I've found. The 'beam' or 'mono' style blades need more pressure from the arms than our 20-30+ year-old wiper assemblies are prepared to provide, so they slip or bounce around instead of actually wiping the windows properly. Stick to a 'traditional' blade design and you're fine.
