The car hauler in the back is too tall to get the 944 on.

I particularly enjoyed the hand applied, taped on numbers.
It is meteor grey from 2007, I'll find the code...
Ditzler PPG - 917370
RMBASF-MA601.00
GLASURIT-PORM7W
And the headlight delete would make a nighttime enduro a challenge, but I tend to only run 1 hour max daylight events, so I ditched the weight.

Just ordered 27mm torsion bars. I tried to like the 26mm bars but they were just too soft compared to the 200lb/in front springs, and they felt weird and squishy in the back. I'm not looking forward to doing the job again, though.
Anyone in the market for 26mm torsion bars, lightly used?

Intermediate
Brakes! Ordered some new front rotors, front and rear Porterfield R4-S pads, SS lines, sensors, fluid, and speed bleeder valves from Pelican. All this, of course, after staring lustfully at the 4-piston Wilwood kit but restraining myself.

I found the 26mm bars to be perfect with my 200# fronts, but definitely wouldn't want anything stiffer for a street car.
i have brand new shocks all around, and the thing rides like an unloaded truck...lol

maybe some installation issue, or our preferences are very different

The shocks are newer Koni yellows adjusted to full hard damping. I've tried other settings too without really any improvement in ride quality. I'm not expecting a Cadillac ride out of a lowered sports car with stiffer than stock springs, but I do want the movement to be controlled. It feels to me as if all suspension movement gets transferred to the rear because the front feels much stiffer.
I guess we'll see after I install the 27mm torsion bars. I would like a touch less understeer than my current setup gives me, anyway.

I finally ordered my set of tyres!
Front: Kumho ECSTA SPT KU 31 225/50 R16 92W
Rear: Kumho ECSTA SPT KU 31 245/50 R16 97W
They come in pretty cheap, I paid 350 euros for the lot!

Not seeing a whole lot of Spanish on the battery...
When I go to Europe I always try to speak what ever language is that of the host country but, all too often, I represent a chance for the locals to practice their English. Frankly, I think it's kinda sad when that happens. Mind you, they may just be having pity on me...
My kids always hope to come away with a Spanish/German/Italian/French etc. t-shirt but it seems that most things are in English! Oh well, at least we were able to get a FC Barcelona shirt at the stadium.

For the 1987 944S Rebuild:
Steel Braided Fuel Line Kit - Lindsey Racing
Crank Impulse Sensor - Lindsey Racing
Vacuum Line Kit - Paragon Products
Porsche TDC Sensor - Porsche Parts Superstore
Fuzion Touring 215/60R15 x 4 - Tire Rack
Grand total: $570. Woof.
I keep telling myself, "It's better than a car payment, it's my dream car, it's not my daily driver (yet), and all bleeding eventually stops."
