Bottom line is a check for $15,025 for the car, and a check for $200 for the contents.

Tired of reading about it, im tired of living it!

Now if i keep the camaro for say two years, by that time one of you **** 944/51 owners (like perry) will be ready to sell and I should get say 5-7k for the camaro with say 45-50k miles, add the 5k extra i am putting into the home equity for now (unless it goes into a new crapper), put another 100 a month away that would be 944 maintenance over camaro maintenance, then well you get the picture.

my wife said i will be in another porsche, just not right now. she hasn't steered me wrong yet, and the porsche was sort of a wedding present/40th present from her.

i think i would have had a hard time getting someone to cough up 15k for the car. i would have rather sold it in three years for 10k but reality steps in.

Exactly Tom...you got more than if you tried to sell the car. It wasn't easy, but it works in the end.

I've seen nice looking '94 968 coupes advertised at $18k! Maybe in a year or two...or sooner...?

At the next get together i will bring the camanimal. what a stiff riding beast. let you guys see what so called "real men" drive. see how tough i got since i bought a muscle car.

yes, the 944 is a better car in almost every way, except acoustics and raw grunt.

Tom - what are you going to do when it snows? The camaro has a solid rear axle doesn't it? Gonna stock up on kitty litter?

You made out better than I with your dealings with GEICO. I understand wanting to end the fight. It is draining

However, I will cost them much more.

I am horrified when I learned how exposed my company and our subsidiaries are to GEICO. Moreover, the brand that we represent is national. Our representative are in every state. Saving money is the same as making money. They both affected the balance sheet equally. This is my first line to attack them as I look for other companies. Secondly, as a company we never sweat the small stuff. We have insurance for big things - like this. They have failed me and I'll be damned to ever give them another opportunity. Several contacts will not be renewed. I am on a mission.
