My dash and some other panels were in pretty rough shape. I thought about going with a full dash kit, but the cost scared me away. I ended up going to the fabric store and bought 4 yards of black suede for $36 and went after my interior.
Main focus was my dash, but ended up doing the a-pillars, panel in front of sunroof and shifter trim as well. I have more left and am planning on doing more of the roof fabric and sunroof as well as trying to do door panels as well.
Materials used:
- 3M super 77 spray adhesive
- Non-silicone sealant for cracks
- Suede material from fabric store

Answers to a few questions:
- Edges of the dash I folded all the suede under a few mm to attach. Will see if I can get a pic
- Suede might get a bit dusty, especially being in the garage, but I would imagine you could get it off pretty easily with a light dusting with a brush. The fabric has a pretty low pile and shouldn't hold much in. But we will see!
- Dash top was done in one single piece. I started with attaching it on the top near the top of the instrument cluster since it had quite a few curves there. I made sure there was plent of fabric to overhang the font and the rear. Did the front of the dash second, then attached the rear. Stretching around the dash vents was probably the hardest part, but fortunately most of that area is covered up with the vents after install.
- Tablet install was a little bit of trickery for the pictures. I am still in the process of trying to get a permanent mount solution. The goal of it is to have an interface for my air/fuel tuner and Innovate SCG-1 wideband/o2 sensor. Both of the programs require windows, so I had to find a windows tablet that would work. The current one is a little too wide to mount it plus have a power + serial to usb connector, so I just angle it to the side for now. I have some angle adapters on order to try and get a more permanent solution.

Offtopic: is that red button toggle on the shift panel for power locks or alarm?
I don't have it, and was wondering if I ever had power locks. If you need to have that button for central locking, it answers a question of mine.

I am really not too sure of the function. I don't daily drive my car, so have not really messed with it. I think it is at least tied to the door unlock/lock function.

That's the power lock switch. The red light indicates the doors are locked.
