Default Anyone with Carrera 18"

Looking for info on 996 Carrera 18" spoke wheels to fit my S2. Will the 8 and 10 fit without any adjustments like spaces? How about tire sizes?

For a late offset car the rears fit no problem. I can't remember if the fronts fit with stock diameter springs, might rub on lower perch or spring. With coilovers they fit fine though. No spacers needed. I run them with stock sizes for the Carrera; 225/40 and 285/30. They are great looking wheels, I think one of the few 18's that don't look out of place.

I have 18" Sport Classic IIs on my 951. The issue I had was clearance over the hub cap on the front. So, I added a 5 mm spacer that resolved that problem.

You need a spacer to clear, the problem then becomes lugnut engagement, we ended up putting longer studs in up front to ensure the wheels stay on for track use.

I wonder if a 7.5" up front would solve the clearance issue?

Installed mine without clearance issues - front 225/40ZR18 and rear 265/35ZR18. My car is 1988 turbo S.
