because we all know that people who steal tools and 5000 dollar Porsches carry illegal handguns with them :>)

I think I was the first person to suggest motion sensors and flood lights, but that was before you mentioned the distance issue.

I caught on to it. Doesnt really look there is much you can do, and this board hasnt been much help....except to vent a little :>)

There is just no way to improve the situation where it is at right now that is why I am looking for a different place. I should of posted about where the garage was and said this was just a venting session to begin with but I was too pissed to think about it.

Are you renting garage space at some person's house or a professional storage garage? If pro, are they private garages or one big one? Do they have cameras, etc? If no to either of those, look into it as an option.

A friend of mine who had a '71 911 used to park it at a public garage, as freshmen didn't get parking spots. He bribed the guards to put a cone in a spot next to the guard booth whenever his car wasn't in it.
