Michael, send yours to North Hollywood Speedo. I got my rebuilt and calibrated in under a week for about $100.00. I think it has a 1 year warranty as well.

i'd do that, but i'm not into spending $100 and shipping for that, when i could get one from a rennlister, and/or get a gear and do it myself for way cheaper.

thanks though,

I guess you have a point on your head there. I took mine apart and said screw it. There was more broken plastic bits than just the gear, so I sent it off.

ERAU- if you can wait a few daysI think I can help. I just bought a second cluster to fix the movement on the speedo in my Turbo. I dont need the other gauges so they will be available.

If it is just the gear are you sure? The movement for the speedo is the same.

Michael- It's not that bad to fix the speedo- I've done mine, and another early 944.
I could probably fix it for you- and save you some bucks-- I'd take parts in trade for labor!!! PM me and let me know exactly whats wrong with it..
