I'm also very excited about your review on the Spax coilover setup!
They cost just about 25% more then the Koni yellow damper set, so next time I might consider them. Although I keep wishing to have enough gold for the KW V3.

Spax do list a RSX Coilover Kit, possibly also rear coilovers for those that get rid of the T bars, I think ?
But the Spax Shock absorbers I'm using are cheaper than Koni and Bilstein and consist of a Front Insert cartridge (Top adjustable Damping) and rear telescopic dampers..(Bottom adjustable damping)
Ish & Per, thanks for the helpful videos. 924srr, thanks for the pic of you hydraulics.

Thats a lot to ask for Ronin!
I just bought 6 good traffic cones. They have been in the passenger footwell and travelled with me all week. I really want to practise. Every second day I scout around looking for secret training spots around my town & area... there aren't many and the traffic cops are everywhere.
My spot off in the mountains is big enough & safe enough & even the local trappers were cool with us being out there last time, but when I had my day off on wednesday I tried to go out there & found the big logging trucks were using that road & basically it was not a good idea. Plus it's a big time commitment to go out there... I really wanna find some thing local.
We've had 2-3 days of constant snow & very cold temps which is great for practising but makes it hard to read the small roads... easy to slip off & be stranded if you know what I mean. This was my main motivation for installing a "real" rollbar a couple years ago; the ditches can be deep & steep.
Unfortunately my model of 944 didn't come with a winch.
Here's some random pics of a very warm day last week, where I found it was too warm and not enough white stuff to practise.

Yes the 44 flatters all drivers in the snow, No other car I know kicks out the tail and it straightens back up so easily...
Interesting aerodynamics with the spray patterns on the doors. If I ever get mine done, think I might go for a tuft test and video..just for grins and giggles.
Enough work, work, work... wrenchin' and searching for parts & stressing.
Crap, can't we just go for a DRIVE please?
So, that's what last night was booked for, but just didn't happen.
So tonight, I left work & rather then head home, I said "screw it" and turned right instead of left. And I drove Wilson (the great!). Damn, you know this car is really great. Yeah, he needs an alignment. He needs new struts & shocks. But he has to be my "car on the road" until the 924 gets sorted. Plain & simple.
Wilson has the heart of a lion.
Tonight the roads are free of ice. The "Chinook" as we call them in Southern Alberta is basically, in a word "warmth", and this caused most of the snow to melt.
Tonight I just followed any old road I felt like. There is a network or really great narrow roads and "back roads" through hills, that seem fit for modern day country folk. I just ripped it up in mostly 3rd gear through the twisties, doing my best not to hit potholes.
