That is a helluva nice looking Turbo S. For $8000 that's gotta be the deal of the century or there is something very wrong with that car.
I wish I had a spare $8k.

Agreed. I'd buy that in heartbeat if the guy didn't live in CA. You could buy and turn around and sell and make several $K's.

Holy Schmoly. I looked closer at the pics on his site and the car has driver & passenger 8-way power seats, 10 speaker stereo, forged Clubsport wheels, M030 suspension, and limited slip differential. The only strange thing I see in the pics is the passenger seat cushion is a lighter shade than the rest of the seat.

Someone should give this one a serious looking into. I wish I could. California to Ohio would be a nice drive in a Turbo S.

The ad on Turbo S said "Accepting offers starting at $8K", but I doubt it really went for $8K. Well I sure hope not anyways, I'd hate to have missed out on a deal!

Yeah thats worth the 800. to bring it to the east coast. A little less mileage and that ones for hiding away in the barn for the future. Dam ,I dunno thats a nice looking unmolested one. If it were only a silver rose. Still very tempting. Hey ,honey ??????????????

Prices are all over the map for P-Cars these days, and Calif with all the economic problems and tight smog regulations just makes a 88 TurboS tough to sell - especially with all the lease return boxsters flooding the local market. Only so many people know or want a TurboS. That and 118,000 mile used cars scare away the uninformed.

I just picked up a very nice 968 Cab from a local seller - exceptionally well serviced mechanically - but needs a few cosmetics (new seat covers, tires, repaint the nose) and it has great potential. Seller started with the "Excellence" pricing levels, but after 6 months, I was able to get it at a very good price all things considered.

Sometimes you just gotta be there......

i don't know about the seats or the wheels, but the m030 suspension, limited slip, and 10 speaker option are part of what makes the car a turbo s (they are on every turbo s)

I don't think the 10 speaker system was standard on the S.
