Default 944 ChumpCar running E85

Brought the Dragon back to life......

She was our test mule for our 924S ChumpCar when we did the team conversion to E85 couple years ago, but the car had not been on track in almost 3 years,
and never raced with E85.

Had to change the original Fuel Pump and filter (for good measure).
After swapping a frozen starter -- she fired right up and
you would have thought it was made for ethanol.

Will give her a test and tune as soon as we thaw out :-) Which in Texas means >60 degrees :-)

ECU and Cam are stock.....

I do know there is a 4 degree woodruff key modification that can be done easily, I do not know if
more timing can be added without significant changes.

You'd need to change the chip in the ECU (late style ECU) to change the ignition timing. Changing the cam timing won't buy you much.

Playing with the FQS (fuel quality switch) you can advance the timing a little bit. I think it's 3 degrees
