Goran, I just got my balance shafts apart today and looked at the orig seal/oring vs the new Viton unit. I've never worked on a 944 engine before. I'm sure this may have eyes rolling but I have to assume the lip goes on the inside of the BS housing? Coat with oil first?

The lip goes to the inside and the Goran seal needs to be stretched over the BS aluminum end plate
This was my procedure for installing Goran seal. Heat water to about 120F and pour large quantity of water into 4 qt open container. Soak seal in water for 10-15 minutes and then stretch seal. Coat seal with brake piston assembly grease. Install on circular end plate by stretching using a wood or plastic tool to pry and inch over the end plate lip. If unsucessful, then repeat the process from the beginning, maybe using 140F temperature water. Just to know that tempetature over 125F can burn so work with the seal accordingly
