Hey, glad I found this thread! Do you happen to have any of these left or have a timeline for the next batch?

Hi Voith-

If these fit on a 968 (which I think they do), I would be in for 2 of the late sets.

Cheers

Ok, PF and Casey have what's left of early seals, no more early left.

Late:
PF: 2 sets
Zirconocene: 2 sets
Sam Lin: 3 sets

I think this is all that's left. I have to find the ''stash'' today as it is burried deep in my garage somewhere. Patience please.

These are great seals, a little challenging to install. I followed this procedure. Prep the seal in 125F water, leaving the seal to soak for several minutes. Apply liquid detergent to the ring of the aluminum end cap. Stretch the seal over the end cap making sure it is oriented properly. Might need to use a "tool" in walking the seal into the ring. It might take a few tries of reheating to be successful.

Hello Voith. I have an early 944 (1985.1). I know I’ll be doing the balance shaft re-seal project at some point. Probably sooner rather than later. How can I secure a set of these upgraded balance shaft end seals? Will they really not be available again till sometime in 2022? Great job of creating this upgrade. Is this new seal holding up well for all that have installed them?
