I finally replaced the motor mounts on my 86 951 - It made such an improvement in the overall ride feel of the car that I still can't believe it. I should have done this years ago. It feels like a new car...... Super smooth.

I got mine done in the summer on the 924S after driving it for 4 months or so with bad mounts after purchase. It makes an unbelievable difference. The car feels brand new. I don't care how much it costs, how many times you gotta do it even if it's once every couple years. It's worth it. I had the biggest grin on my face when I got mine done.

I went with the O.E.M. Porsche mounts from 944online as they included all the new mounting hardware with the mounts.

go oem or do the job again in 6months. ask me how I know.

I think its time to do this in Spring 2015.
As of now looks like OEM may be the way to go.

I would buy them from Sunset Porsche.

They are a LOT less than the other place mentioned.
