Default 924 alternator needed

Just checked alternator and it is not charging.....I cleaned alot of grounds, too but no luck.....bearing sounds shot, too......Help!, Iceshark.....ol pal ol buddy.......got one for a 79 924 nonturbo NA?????

The Delco may not be a bad option if you can get it to mount sturdy. It sure is cheaper.

I replied to your PM so check that and let's see what the costs come out to.

I think your Delco option is going to win, especially if you get it for just shipping. Mounting is the key, it has to be rock solid or it will tear the belt apart.

I still don't have the time to take it out....hopefully next week and I will find out which one it is (Bosch etc....)...thanks Iceshark and thanks Wade for the assistance........

Guess I should have been more specific. The one(s) I have are from an '80 924, not the Delco stuff. They should be a direct replacement.
