Am considering your Vitesse chip. Would you happen to know for what configuration that chip is designed? What additional elements [FPR, injectors, MBC] would be required? Does it come paired with a KLR chip, as well?
Have you run your car with both the Autothority and Vitesse chips? If so, how would you compare/contrast their sensitivity/responsiveness/operation across the driving spectrum?

I do not know if Lloyds still makes this set. I haven't seen anyone carry the rear piece in a long time.
The Vitesse chip is for the factory AFM with the 26/6 turbo. It is for a basically stock system and uses the factory KLR chip. The only other item you will need is a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator.
I bought my car with the Autothority chip. A friend recommended upgrading to the Vitesse chip. The Vitesse beats the Autorthority chip to death in all areas. More responsive and better drivability everywhere. Part throttle, full throttle, it is just a better chip.

I do not know if the rear would fit in the cab. It looks like it would fit. I never tried it and now I would have to pull the two amps, the sub box, and a bunch of wires to test fit it.
In any event, the mats are SOLD!

If this chip is designed to run with the factory KLR chip, I wonder why a 3 bar FPR is stipulated? As you know, the factory KLR is limited to 0.8 bar. Any idea what range of boost is this chip designed for? Is it limited to run at 0.8 bar? Is that how you ran it when you changed over from the APE set up?
Do you have any paperwork with this chip?

When you ran the APE chips, did you run stage 1 [0.8 bar] or 2 [1.0 bar]?

I did use a manual boost controller with the Vitesse chip. You don't have to but it is an option. I was running 15 lbs of boost. You could go to probably 16 lbs without worrying about anything. If you want to go higher than that, I would recommend a wideband O2 sensor to keep track of your A/F ratios.
I do not have any paperwork with either chip.

I am running the same vitesse chip and there is no KLR chip. John designed it to run a 3 bar and an MBC with the stock KLR. You may have to adjust your FQS to your setup, if I remember correctly.

My understanding is that the factory KLR/CV [built-in] overboost trips around 1.1 bar. That said, in order to run higher than factory boost, I thought most folks that run a DME chip without a modified KLR chip choose to bypass the CV [to avoid overboost] and run an EBC/MBC instead.
So, with this chip and MBC, you have been running with the stock KLR/chip but a bypassed CV?
