Default Best looking head unit?

I've done some searching and haven't really found anything of interest of what head unit looks correct in a 944 without breaking the bank and getting something like the CD220 or anything else OEM like that. I've seen a few pictures of nakamichi, but looking further into them none of them have aux and are pretty pricey. I don't really care about sound quality that much I just want an aux port either on the head unit face or in the back where I can route a cord somewhere, and for it to look somewhat period correct or like it belongs in there.
This is the only thing I have found so far:

Here it is in an E36 BMW,my current daily driver, which how I found out about this head unit because it looks very factory.

It's only a euro model so I'd have to get a seller to ship it from wherever in Europe I buy it. The lights are more orange than amber, so it might bother me. Just looking for pictures of other peoples setups or what they recommend

I've been using the pioneer 80prs for a while, it works nicely, sounds great and isn't too flashy.

For me personally, I'm not too concerned about ipod support with the usb, as long as it has aux in capabilities I'm fine as my phone has great battery life and don't need to charge it but overnight.

I had a Nak cd500 in my M coupe for a bit and it definitely had an aux in on the back. I use a Porsche CDR220 in the 951 (also has aux input).

I use my phone like that too, but the car has an ipod Nano that lives in it as my backup plan. I do like the look of the clarion but I do miss the more detailed display on something like that.

Picked up this Blaupunkt Miami CD127 a few years ago for $40 and it looks right at home in my '86. Lots of older Blaupunkts floating around that would look great, before they started looking like Japanese video games in the 00's.

Added the BEA 80 for a little extra 80's charm (looks better than a cubby that collects junk).

Bumping this thread back up because Im going to pull the trigger soon. I think that clarion unit I originally posted is too orange for the 951. At least in my car my interior lights are more amber looking than the orange/amber in the bmw.

I like this Jensen unit as it looks 80's and I think that amber will match the interior lights better

I just installed this in my Turbo this past weekend, I think it blends well without looking too modern. The white script matches the white of the climate controls right above it and also came with clip on cover to blank it out. I mainly just listen to my iPhone so use the AUX input, no CD on this model, but it makes it about half the depth of a standard CD single DIN.

It does the job, and I wanted Blaupunkt for "correctness"

I love that Clarion model ^^^ but I needed CD.

My current bang for the buck champion, interfaces with ipods, has aux in and the colors can be changed to match the dash fairly well.
