got the evaporator fixed and reinstalled, installed new ac compressor and replaced all the o-rings on the fittings.

currently holding steady at 26 inHg vacuum...lets see how it holds overnight.

Replaced instrument panel with a virgin one. Very gratifying to not have to look over that crappy one any more.

Glad to see I'm not alone in using the day to get some work done. Out in Santa Cruz it was very difficult to drive around in a truck to parts stores instead cruising in the '44. Got a lot of work done though. Installed new upper strut mounts, removed the shot old struts and fitted Koni sport shocks. Its coming together. I will need to do a new thread for the amount of work being done.
