Thank you. We've been through a lot since the end of 2015 and I keep trying to remain positive. There are some opportunities arising that I hope pan out. Would be amazing to be back in my career field once again full time.
For the time being, I've been concentrating on smaller projects such as getting my 01 MR2 Spyder back on the road. I'm picking up the trans for it this weekend and then it will be ready to hit the road.
I'm closing on the RX-7 that I restored with my sons over the summer:
And we are prepping for a Miata restoration. Picked the car up for $100 so I can't lose. I have a clean roller with a title to pick up this weekend as well that I'm swapping everything over into. Will make two cars into one:
Just trying to get the MR2 finished and then I can start on the 944 while I peck away at the Miata project. I'd really love to put some miles on the 944 this year!

Decided to spearhead the 944 and got the new belts and rollers and water pump on order. Decided to upgrade to the newer style water pump so I had to order the 46mm roller as well as the nut and guide plate kit. not going to take any risks putting the job off. Its time. Then once that's underway, I'll order a new wiper transmission, right tail light, and bumper pads for the rear. Then I'm going to buff what's left of the paint, balance the tires, do an alignment, replace the trans oil and service the calipers and pins. Should have the belts and water pump done in a day once all of the parts arrive. After that it will be a waiting game for the rest of the parts. The car will be in the garage apart, waiting for the parts so install should go quick.

Got the car in the garage and I'm awaiting some parts. Looking forward to fixing the car and enjoying putting some miles on the car this spring and summer. I have a lo ton my plate as far as car projects go, but I'm moving this one to the front of the pack. Here's the car as it sits currently:

Thank you. The fuel lines are on the list. The first one to be replaced will be the one on the rail. I was looking at it last night and it has a date stamp of 1989, so its more than time to replace it. I'd hate to burn the car down as we know how those love to leak.

Things just kept getting pushed back farther and farther with this car. I've decided to make time and get it back on the road full time this year. I have a bunch of parts on order and I hope to be able to update this thread with more pictures and a list of what I am repairing!
