Default A 944S made Jalopnik/OPPO

Well, here we go, a guy picks up a 944S for $800 and does a quick fix up and flips it. Not perfect but still some 944 exposure in front of the general car guy audience on the internet.

Thats a normal S not an S2. Only the s2 got the turbo bumper. Also S got 2.5L 16v, s2 3.0l 16v.

The 944S had the NA front end, and the 944S2 had the turbo front end. That being said, what the heck did he do to that front bumper? I don't think I have ever seen a bumper pushed up like that.

I noticed that too. But it doesn't look right in the before pictures either. I'm thinking the mounts must have been bent in an accident or something.

I pointed out the bumper in the comments to the story author, he knew but was in a hurry. I'm guessing the shocks got messed up. A pretty easy fix.

Looks to me like the shocks got mounted upside down. Iirc there is a slight upward and (bottom) outward taper when putting them on. Could be wrong though…its been a while. Cool article!
