Yup, the MT-90 solved a minor 1st to 2nd shifting glitch I had in the '90 Eurospec and made shifting into reverse when cold easier in the '84. ...And that's a really nice n' straight 944 laneskelton. They are an absolute blast to own. Including the fact that they handle like they're on rails.

Congrats and enjoy! Looks like you found a clean example. I am running Redline also, and love it.

I'm running Redline MT90. The car had Swepco when I got it and it would grind second gear when cold. Ever since changing to Redline, it shifts smooth no matter what.

I spent some time today finishing a little 'RS' door car project that I have been working on.

I cut the caps off of my door cards and made new lower sections out of hard board from Home Depot. I glued on some thin foam and some houndstooth fabric from yourautotrim.com. Then I installed some red door pull straps and RS America bezels that i sourced from SierraMadreCollection.com for that 'RS' look. I'm very happy with how they turned out and can't wait until my sport seats with houndstooth center sections are complete.

They look fantastic. If you documented anything during the build would love to see it. Not sure if the door pulls were straight fwd to connect. Would like to make a black set for my 85

Lane, how did you end up re-attaching your new lower panels to the upper caps?

They aren't connected at all. The caps attach in the sock connection points (screws on either side of the panel) and the bottom panel is attached via the factory clips and the door handle bezel.

That turned out nicely...well done.

Last weekend I installed some new leather/houndstooth seat covers on the sport seats to tie everything together.

Very nice - I did something similar for the doors, but used core flute because it is light. Downside was I needed to screw the lower panel into the door. My straps are bolted to the stock armrest upper bolt hole, but don't have the bezel. I slit the fabric where the pull comes through, then tucked the edges in with a knife. Downside is you have to do that each time you remove the panel. My Sebring mirrors are in transit!

Here's a few updated pics of the 944.

In the recent months, I have done the following:

-installed a only944.com firewall brace
-new master and slave cylinders
-lowered the rear end via the eccentric bolt
-installed 7mm spacers on the rear wheels
-new hood struts from sierramadrecollection.com
-put on my 2.5 sticker from drivingwhileawesome.com
