Greeting Tyler, welcome to the forum.

Some more details about the engine would be helpful in selling, how many miles...what year did it come out of...price...etc.

Also, you must be a paying member to advertise sales here. It's only 18 bucks a year.

What direction is your project headed?

Welcome

First you need to be a paid member to post stuff for sale.

Second you must post prices.

Third pictures of all the parts you have for sale would be good.

Just saying, otherwise the admins will delete your post and ban your account. Best read the rules first.

I appreciate you man. Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to get right on that. If you want more information you can text me. 5045052559 that way I don't get caught up in too much drama on here before I sign up. I plan on it. Just can't make that move today. But I have more info. Just message me if you want. Again if not, thank you for the heads up.

And I know a lot of people aren't into this idea, but I want to go for the ls1 swap. I plan on drifting the car and the stock motor won't produce the power I want for the money I'm willing to put into it.

I'm all good with the v8 swap, I have one myself but the drifting part isn't all that great of an idea. Sure, they can do it...but it's going to get very expensive, and if you can't even pay for a membership I don't see your drift career with one of these cars going very far. That being said, I'll help out any way I can with your swap. Where are you located? It's going to be stupid expensive to drift these cars....you're going to break things.

If you're going to drift, at least look into a S, 951, or S2 trans as they are reinforced to keep up with higher torque. The NA 8v trans is the achilles heel on a 944 that sees a lot of wheel spin.

Or torque

Or lift

Or abuse

A turbo (or s, s2, 968) trans is going to be your best bet. With that much torque you need not consider anything else. And those will break with abuse as well. Your r&p isn't going to like those clutch kicks...

Don't worry my dude. I have a lot of funds coming my way for this project, I have 2 na's to part out as well. I also already started dropping my transaxle and I've found a turbo transaxle and I've already decided to replace my rear end with a later model so I can put Coilovers. I'm putting a fat torsion bar, I plan on caging it, I know it's possible. I've done plenty of research. Even if I didn't track my car, the 8v motor would have never produced the power I'm trying to get out of my car anyway. It will be all around cheaper to do the ls1 swap. Seeing I've already found a motor from some nearby friends for 450. I'm just waiting on my funds and for my parts to start moving.

It's not that I don't have money, I don't have my card.

And it's not a matter of what all my vehicle is capable of, I'm like any other porsche enthusiast. I just love MY car.
