Default Cruise control brain box location??

Easy enough to find on the 944- right above the hood release lever. where is it on the 924S? Is it the same location as the early 944's??

also.. I wanted to swap out the working cruise control brain from the 87 944 into the 88 924S to see of that's the problem why the cruise wont work on the 924. is it a doable swap ?? I dont have access to a PET to verify P/N's..

Thanks- Chris.

I would assume they are the same. The two that I have seen are the same.

I believe it is located in the drivers side well up on the left near the hood release and so forth.

I'm gonna go in to the pool. My back is cramping from "sitting" in my car with my feet outta the roof and my head near the pedals.
I did put in a few new cable ties tho!
I'll verify it's the same if I ever find it.

Maybe I should just pull the driver's seat out.

On the early 944's, the cruise control brain box is located behind the radio. Hope this helps.

Thanks Sid- always to the point.. I hope the devil himself burns the miserable flesh from your bones!

Thanks Buddy!

ahofam- I'll pull the radio today and look- thanks! It's probably in the "early" location.
