.... well its not like anyone considered a 944 a real Porsche anyway .....

Just messin with you guys .. I actually saw one at one of our get togethers and how the guy had the exhaust header on the drives side wrap around the steering column was pure art. Cant quite see how they did it on this build.. Bet that thing screams though ... ..not a fan of the light covers though .. im thinking that was done as the original Linkage wouldnt fit up fron there anymore.

love the "Hybrid" emblem ... too funny ..

Looks the same colour as my old 944.. Diamond Blue Metalic ?

with much of that car being so rotten, it gives me cause to be wary of the swap itself.

though easy fixes can be done - still,

maybe wait out E-bay for an LS1 944/68, as there have been a few gems.

or have Karl (PorscheDoc) help with a 5.3 truck motor swap.

It looks like the swap was done correctly, but the things that worry me are the rear carpet, the cupholders that are attached to the center console, and the dash. The dash is what kills me. I would rather look at a cracked dash vs. something with a dashmat on it.

I really don't know much about the swap but I think the car looks decent. Does the hatch leak?

What happened to your garage?

*sorry I couldn't help it.

I LOVE those light covers ( I like the black outline around them too, I'v seen similar GTS style lights that are borderless and I don't like them as much for some reason), and I actually need them for similar clearance issues. Were those covers DIY'ed or purchased? I've got plans to make some FG buckets using old style retangular chevy pickup headlights. 86 951, your whole car is clean, I dig it all.

That's rough to look at. But at least the garage is being rebuilt.

It isn't my car. It is a car for sale. I am considering picking it up, but it has some things that would need to be fixed by me or someone to make it something I would like to drive. I like the stock interior, and the rear carpet would have to go, along with the cup holders on the center console and a few other things.
