Default Value of a V8 944

I don't want this to turn into a pissing match about what is right or wrong about converting these cars.

I'm looking at a LT1 88 944 NA. It has power steering, power brakes, AC, and everything works electronically. The car does have the suspension done along with upgraded brakes. Has big reds up front and turbo rear calipers. The car also has a bolt in cage and race seats. It also has GT racing headlight buckets instead of pop ups. It looks pretty nice, but I'm not sure the real value of it. The swap was done with mostly renegade hybrids kit and has about 15,000 miles on it since the conversion. The interior needs some work. The dash is most likely cracked, but the PO glued the carpet dash mat on. Also the rear carpet has 2 holes cut for some 6x9 speakers. I would replace that as well.

Any idea how to value this thing?

How hard is it to Convert to a turbo front end or something different that the stock front end.

If I were trying to sell, 10-13k.

If I were trying to buy, 8-11k.

Provided everything works as it should and it looks good.

ADmiral is on the money assuming it already has a 951 trans and even better with an NA 5th gear installed. Only better alternative to the V8 trans solution is copying/stealing Odu's trans.

Sounds like a sweet ride that has pretty much all the right boxes checked.

The extra 75-80 lbs of the iron-block keeps the NA nose from the infamous 140mph floating enigma as well. No 951 nose needed

Is that autocorrect bro? AIR makes a turbo bumper for an N/A car. Uses the turbo fogs and signals but it designed to match the NA bumper. For an N/A car I'd just get a Euro bumper.

So will I be able to take a ride in this in the next couple of months?

This was early in the morning and it was a horrible post. Sorry about that. I was sober, just not alert. I posted it from my phone which may have autocorrected a few words.

I am not a huge fan of the N/A nose. Never have been. I really like the way a turbo looks.

I am still up in the air on the car. Sounds like I may pull the trig. I just need the wife to sign off on it. My issue is not having a garage to keep it currently.

I don't mean to threadjack, but if anyone has a euro NA bumper and want to sell...

Admiralkhole's 948 has a sweet CGTS replica bumper, definitely another viable option. Middle car:

I used TPC's NA bumper mod.
