944's and 951's are SO easy to work on!!! Maybe its because I've been doing it for so long, but they're so simple and easy to work on once you figure out how things work

My 951 hasn't needed any motor work yet, but I'm halfway through this right now: http://www.atthetipwebs.com/technolo...ead_gasket.htm

Interestingly enough this past summer was the first time I actually assembled and fully installed a 944 engine, and it was an 89TS engine in an 86T...had NO idea what I was doing...built the engine, sourced, purchased and installed all missing parts, and had the car running and driving 5 weeks after purchasing it with the engine and trans out and having to replace the torque tube.

I've got all of you beat

that's a v6 s half of it is buried, far worse than a v8 in the 928. timing belt on one of those, about 3 hours by me doing it(professional tech) average person will spend 10+ hours doing it.

Clean GTO! Hell, all your engine bays look like the photos could be circa within a few years from factory new

My son has an old Peugeot 306. I had to remove the intake manifold, the brake booster and lift the engine off its mounts just to change a heater hose. I had to remove the alternator and power steering pump to change a fan belt….

Anything with an inline engine is a piece of cake!

Audi A3 1.6 2001, you have to remove cover, intake manifold, fuel rail, stupid crankcase pump and injectors to change spark plugs. WTF.

Peace of **** engineering.

Oudurandina:

Ive owned few opels, they are essentially your dream cars since they are german cars with engine and ****load of GM parts in them.

Every single part that failed on my opels was always GM.

On my S4 to change the alternator. You have to put the car in Service position. I'll let you goggle that.
