Nice find, those GP white fuchs are definitely worth more than the asking price and that lsd tranny is worth some coin too. Good job!

Did it also then have the M456 Sport Suspension with Konis and sport springs, with the heavier duty anti sways , all from Porsche ?

Unfortunately not. They didn't quite go the whole way with the race machine. It's a shame the car has no title. At least it isn't stolen, I checked.

Ditto, you got a good catch if all above is true. I would sell the Fuchs and keep that LSD but that's me.

Great find dude!

I'm kind of torn. The lsd would be awesome, but is a lot of work. The Fuchs I can just throw on and go. I'm hoping to get good money for the hatch and a couple other things, then I can justify keeping both.

Doesn't the state have a process to apply for a lost title?

You can't legally transfer a car without a title, so the title would be issued in a previous owners name. The shell will have to be scrap or a race car at this point.

My state has a process where you can file for a title on a vehicle that has been "abandoned". They send a registered letter to the title holder who has 45 days to contest. If he does not, they issue a new title in your name, after you pay the fees of course. I guess your state does not.

I can swap a trans in 4 hours flat, with hand tools, a jack, and jack stands...Unless you have a post-85.5 and this is a pre-85.5, then you'd have speedometer hookup problems...

If both are early's then I'd be glad to help you swap a trans at some point

That would be awesome, and I may take you up on it if this guy ever gets back to me.

Looks like the car was sold to someone else. The seller never returned my calls and now the CL listing is gone. If the person that bought it is out there and interested in selling parts, please send me a PM. I realize I probably shot myself in the foot by posting on here about how great a find it was...

Someone on this site may have indeed sniped it. You have to act fast when a good deal comes around or someone else will slip in while you aren't looking and ****** it.

I did act fast, the owner didn't show when I first came to look at it then never returned my calls. I won't make the same mistake again of posting about it here.

I never said, but anyone in my area on CL would have known what I was talking about. I'm in the Baltimore/DC area.
