Exclamation My car is YELLOW!!!

Yeah, you heard (read) me. I said its Yellow, and it sticks out like a sore thumb and lots of people notice it and it looks friggin shiny and awesome and is SO killer when there is a touch of drizzle on it on a grey day. I just had to say that cause I have finally decided that I would NOT have ANY 944 in ANY other color (and cause I was just reading that 240sx vs 944 post and some dude said yellow was a rad color). Sorry about the silly post. Does anyone else feel the same way I do about their car's color?

Got a pic? Love to see it. I like Glacier Siver (blue) or whatever the technical name is for my color. It's very sweet. I think I posted a love fest with my color in some post a while back.

I've got no problem with yellow, it looks very distinctive on many vehicles. One of my all-time favorite bikes was a 72 Norton Combat I converted to a cafe racer 15 years ago. It was a replica of the famous Yellow Peril, the factory racer of that era. The yellow fairing, and racing tank and seat looked amazing on it.

The only problem was that it would set off the alarm in my neighbor's Saab every time I pulled out of the driveway. One of the ones I reget selling.

I just told my body shop to paint mine yellow also. But it wont be Porsche yellow, it will be slightly richer in colour.

I liked Guards Red but decided it would be nice to have something a bit less common and the one 944 I have seen/driven in Yellow, looked great.

Here is Matt's Yellow 944.
Dude, Your girlfriend is HOT!! ***** five stars.

I was thinking about painting my GTI yellow. It is in a bunch of pieces right now and could be done easily. I may just keep it silver. Paint is expensive.

Here is my Gaurds red n/a at the Glenn. Hmmm, is that a yellow RX7?

Here is my Black on Black 951.

Matt, I have never seen a side pipe on a Porsche. That is unique. Exhausting Viper style.

That yellow 944 needs a couple more airscoops on the headlights.

Hah! I never knew my girlfriend was "Roller Girl"!!! Actually I honestly believe my girlfriend is much prettier (I constantly tell her she is beautiful) but then again I am VERY biased if you know what I mean. As far as pics go, I will post as soon as I can get my buddies digital camera.
Dave, I have not put the hardware in yet ("horror, the horror" to quote heart of darkness) The car is a bit too high and dirty yo post a pic yet. Trust me, I'll be so damn proud I'll start a new topic. Untill then I'll give you guys a pic of the ultimate 944 in lemon yellow (If I keep it long enough, mine will become the same)

Wow you are soooo coool. You have a yellow car. Whoopee.

How much crack will I have to smoke to be as bright as you? And yes your girlfriend is beautiful. Just wait till she wakes up.

Now if only you had a motor under the hood, like an S or turbo. Oh yeah you know more than everyone about that.
