Ah yes, the highly defensive Mr. Bates. You were hostile then and you still are. I let that go long time ago and I realy dont care about what you have to say. This post has been written in good humour and I am sad to see that you have to bring your personal fixations to the generally nice atmosphere here. I apologize for the jive I threw at you a while back. "just keep my name outta your mouth and I'll keep it the same". Now, please guys, lets just post how we enjoy our specific colours .

that has to be an "na". The front bumper doens't seem to line up just right in the corner. Such a beautiful spitter though.

'Fraid they are different, Renntag. Just the leading corner, the front valence on the Turbo means the quarters had to be -slightly- redesigned from the NA.

Do you guys think that the aftermarket turbo noses compensate for the slightly diffetent leading edge. I have often suspected that the fenders were a bit different.

Hey guys, it just occured to me that the yellow car has euro fenders. Maybe this was a US turbo guy that wanted the euro look (and could only get n/a fenders). Check out the 44 next to it,it has American fenders.

Yeah, I was reading the product description on one of the company sites that make the conversion valence and they mention the different quarter panel shape. Can't remember which one.

Uh, I cant really see, but does the car have euro plates? Maybe the car got totalled and was rebuilt to euro specs. Either way, it looks trick.

[quote]Keith are you suggesting the fenders are different between the n/a and the Turbo? That makes no sense.

Well, just check out this picture of a Turbo. Look at the very front of the fender where it meets the front bumper cover:
That's why converting a 944NA to a 951 front-end using factory parts is so expensive. Not only do you have to buy the bumper-cover and all the associated mounting brackets underneath, but you also have to buy two complete fenders as well.
My favorite color has to be Ferrari Charro Rosso red!
That's going the color I will use to repaint my car (picture's kinda dim, actual car is REALLY BRIGHT!)

Bates, was that actually you I was arguing with?? Anyhow, the fact that I remember so little about that episode suggests how long ago it happened and how seriously (or not seriously) I took it.
By the way, in response to your comment, I have not driven an S (been a passenger though) and have seen plenty. I cant really believe you suggested I have never even SEEN an S. Come on guy, relax a bit. Whats done is done. I actually LIKE the S now (mostly cause the head looks pretty nice). On another note, who thinks a black tubro valence would look cool on the rump of my car? (take a look at a yellow 360 modena which has a black screen in the back and take the black rubber spoiler on my car into consideration)
