Default It is Official SARATOGA TOPS to be made again

This is the official post from Pilkington about the tops. I copied the post fron Jon of Pilkington about cost and dates to order.

All,

I am happy to announce final pricing and release information! The Saratoga Top will release with a list of $699.99 and a standard discounted price of $499.99.

To thank everyone on Rennlist, we will be doing a limited release to Rennlist members only starting Tuesday, September 17th for the discounted price of $299.99 for the first 100 tops sold! Maximum order quantity of 2 per person during this release. Public release to follow at a later date.

To order, starting Tuesday, September 17th, call Pilkington Classics at 1-(800)-848-1351.

Thanks for sticking with us and driving this project forward. We are excited and we know you will love your brand new Saratoga Top!

Cheers!

Jon Sheets

This should make it easier to see and order your tops. This is so exciting and two years in the making. This thread started with Pikington to make saratoga tops again. Good luck thank you and enjoy

First post!

Thanks for the news. Great work! Pictures? Video? I know there is another thread, but are these a direct replacement? As in you just remove the current top and put this in it's stead? Does the price include any hardware? Does the top have a seal installed?

Lastly is it for an electric sunroof or manual?

Thanks Stephen. I am in for 1 top for my 968.

Does one size fit all 9xx cars including 924 / 944 / 968 cars ?

What is the top made of - thermoplastic or glass ?

Is it a simple swap that works exactly like the existing factory steel panel ?

(I'll give them a call on Monday and post the answers to my questions.)

There is an extensive post on the 944 turbo site that will answer all the questions.

I called and was not able to have my questions answered. They go on sale at 8am on sept. 17th, and they will be able to answer questions at that time. Stephen, can u please answer these primary questions here? I couldnt find them in that gigantic thread.

The guy on the phone confirmed they are being manufactured.
I did find out that shipping might be $60 or $110 (depending on what size box it will fit into).

Yes can it? If not, are there plans to make a manual top version?
