Question

Just curious... is this wing, or, the front spoiler sold as a performance or appearance enhancement? Has the wing been tested? Track or wind-tunnel? Is that an original design wing, or an existing aftermarket mated to the custom tail? Is the lower portion reinforced internally to handle the downforce generated at the mounting points?

Not trying to be brash... just curious. Sorry if you're not the designer... I can email Fiberwerks directly.

No, I'm not the designer or related to the company or endorse the product. I just purchased the glove box checks from them and saw their new spoiler. I am interested in the answers to the above questions as well.

Angry

For the price, I would rather have the adjustable 968 Turbo rear wing kit. I think it looks cleaner and less rice-boy.

That's a fine looking spoiler, except the risers look pretty kludged. I suppose that's because it's a prototype. However, it looks like the wing would be just about perfectly shaped for hydraulic pistons that would raise and lower the wing at speed... the edges would mate nicely to the deck when it was fully retracted, then you'd hit 70... up 2 inches... 110... another 2... 135... another 2. Where could I get some pistons, I wonder?.... Hm.....

Just so no stone goes unturned, check out the new rear spoiler from www.lindseyracing.com.

I don't have one, just a satisfied customer from days gone by.

Thumbs down

Just checked out the Lindsey wing. Glad I did, too, because I thought the other one looked bad before that. Now I think it is not-so-bad, as the title has been tken by the Star Trek prototype wing.

Just my opinion, of course, but I am with Michael on this one (and I used to the the 968 turbo S wing was obnoxious...)

Keep 'em coming, this is fun.
BTW, did anyone else ever see the Accord-esque wing mounted directly to the rubber spoiler a few years ago? I think maybe it was on John Anderson's car?....?

Anyone?
