Question OK, which way to you install the little hole?

Here is one I have not seen talked about. I am getting ready to install new lifters, which way do you like to install the little hole? I read that installing it 180 deg. from the cam is the way to get the fastest pump up. This is how I installed them when I built my engine, now I have clickers.

What do we have here, bad advise or bad lifters?

I would think the same as cam, but don't they rotate once they're installed?
