Nice!

I love welding, not only is it fun, but it opens up a world of possibilities. Most of what I've "made for my car" is special tools and jigs, but I've also made lots of exhaust adapters and fittings. Last thing I made was a custom 2-to-1 y-pipe and resonator delete for my 968. I'm slowly getting better.

my greatest achievement on the 944 V8: Dual 3 inch exhaust.

Unfortunately I had to use flux core for all the welds, didn't have a gas setup at the time, but I compensated for that with a soft paddle grinder wheel

Cheers!

Man, the strut braces and exhaust are bad ***!

I have made:

SS exhaust studs

SS intake studs

SS hatch pins

Delrin swaybar bushings

SS hood pins

Brass radiator fittings

Etc......

I do want to try making some strut braces as well - thanks for the additional encouragement!

J pipe replacement to move the AFM for a cone filter near the fender. A friend made the replacement intercooler pipe.
The intercooler replacement removed the step-down, step-up restriction in the stock pipe.

Did you ever make any more of these kits?

I'd be interested in something like that as well to help fit my extremely massive 3 inch turbo inlet pipe and make it less of a tight squeeze. Would also greatly simplify fabrication of a large post intercooler pipe to match my 2.5" pre intercooler pipe.

My injectors wouldn't pulse when I first wired up my engine, turns out I had my injector wiring run improperly (I ran the wires in a circle accidentally) and didn't properly run the power wires. Go back through the diagrams and check your power and ground wires to make sure you're getting proper connections

http://lt1swap.com/all_lt1.htm

I'll dig up those part numbers when I get the chance!
