Default 944S Engine Value?

I'm in the planning stages of a LS1 swap, just need to figure out the
money right now. Does anyone know what a 77,000 mile 2.5 16 valve would
be worth? It has new belts and pads and runs great.

Mmmmmmmm probably about 5 bucks...

How long is a piece of string?

There are many more variable besides "belts and pads" that can change the value. Usually not in your favor. Post some more specifics on here and someone might just make you an offer!! (I happen to be in the market...)

I'm going to need all the help I get! Hoping to get schooled in Hersey
in a few weeks. Seems to be a lot of ways to go, I'm sure there isn't a
"best" setup but I sure would love to know what to stay away from!

Have you looked at Texas Performance Concepts? Try posting on 944hybrids.com
There are some really helpful people over there.

How are the threaded magnesium bits holding up? Have they disintegrated yet? Water pump? Did the rollers get done with the belts? Oil cooler seals? Is the paint on the inside of the valve cover flaking off into the valve train?

That kind of stuff.

Ritz might be your man. 1k is good for everyone.

The rollers were done last time, they were smooth so I didn't replace them.
Have receipts on the water pump, the inside of the VC looks good, I did
repaint the outside with a wrinkle black. I don't see receipts on the oil cooler
seals, no milkshake though, clean oil and coolant. The magnesium stuff has lost one thread
on the dist cove, I just used a long bolt and a nut, the other 2 look and torque up fine.
The VC has no cracks or anything in it...

I'm located in the suburbs of NE Philadelphia..

Well, crap, he was supposed to be MY neighbor, not YOURS!

Smart *** remarks aside, I'm interested in the harness, AFM, and DME if they don't go with the engine, or everything if ritzblitz ends up passing. FWIW, I'm looking at putting this in my SP3 car, and running a few hundred pounds lighter than I am, now. I've got what I need to build one of these engines, but would rather drop in an engine to see if the weight/power is better, or makes me slower, before I build a new engine. Don't have the harness or DME, though.
