Default Calling Charlotte NC 924/44/51/68 Owners

Many moons ago there was a tradition in Charlotte to do Beer Nights, and after talking with Richard the other days (black944 turbo) I wanted to see if there was any interest to bring the tradition back? I hosted these in the past, and would be willing to do so again. My house isn't ideal, but I am sure we could make it work.

Or if beer nights are not good for folks, what about trying to get people together for a strong showing at cars and coffee (or cars and cappuccino, another car gathering here in Charlotte).

If neither of those are good ideas, what about a tech session? We could use a garage, or I could ask around the different porsche shops to see if they wanted to host something.

Thoughts?

And some pictures from a cars and coffee from 10 years ago,

I would be interested. My car is back apart for the winter but this would give me the drive to finish it up before spring.

I'm up in Winston and wouldn't mind joining in whenever I'm in the country.

Three in Charlotte, two willing to make a drive, not a bad start. But I am sure we can find some more folks to join in.

OMB would be a good place to go, mainly because the OMB Copper is often my beer of choice.

But I would say it would depend on the number of people we had going, I wouldn't want to have a 944 gathering at OMB and have 4 people show up. Small gatherings might be better suited to someone's house, while larger ones could be at OMB (or somthing similar) or a tech session at one of the local garages.

I am in. May I suggest a drive as well. I know Peter would probably join as well.

Btw there is a great looking black car in the above pics.
