What are you doing about the lower shock mount in the back? IIRC thats a weakpoint, and i've seen a few cars with them broken. I really really like your tie rod setup, nice work.

That looks like a good solution. How much is your crossmember lowered?

Pretty cool. Did you turn that taper by hand or are you CNC enabled?...Bruce

PS... this little fab/engineering stuff is the part I like best - when it works I feel smart. Too bad it doesn't work for me more often though.

I take it you also play around on the lathes and mills?
Just simple little stuff.

You might have a good product - bump steer control kit. Its direct and solves a problem. You might consider powder-coating the spacer (bc bling matters). And then for the crossmember , maybe provide a drilling template...Bruce

Would you consider selling a reproduction of the spring spacer?

Good job on the bumpsteer kit. Too bad it won't clear 15" wheels.

Ahhh machine shop.. fond memories . Nothing like chuck keys flying around the lab because people are idiots.. . I hated that class, think i made two dozen tensile specimines for strengths of material labs, i got screwed and had to almost all the cold rolled steel ones. Wish i was one of the lucky guys who did the delrin or aluminum ones!

My shop teacher started off the first day by very loudly throwing a chuck key into the chip tray of the lathe and then telling us a story about a poor guy who left the chuck key in the chuck... and had it impale his ******* - and then what had to be done at the hospital to remove it.

No idea if the story was fact or fiction, but nobody left a chuck key in!

Regarding 15" wheels: they're lighter, tires are cheaper, and all the fast racers are on 15" wheels.
