Default Interested in a 968 Rear Spoiler for your 944?

I am trying to get an idea of who would be interested in a 968 spoiler? I see talks of them quite a bit on here, but there are really only 2 options. 1. buy the fiberglass one from the UK(pain in the butt), 2. buy a 968 rear hatch for a lot of money. If there was a domestic Fiberglass option for a 968 spoiler would you buy it? Would you spend in the $2-300 range?

If I could bolt it on in place of the factory rubber spoiler, YES I would spend the $$

Prefer the 924 LeMans spoiler in that price range. The GT Racing one is over $400 and badly made. Got to be simpler to make and imo looks better on a 944 than a 968 one.

^I agree

Looks more at home on the car and is probably more functional
Looks kind of like a whale tail too which is cool.

It was about 200 for the UK model, lots of work to get it to bolt on and off. I think Ian out of Florida is about to release a bolt on version. Funny that I ordered the UK part, then the blogs come alive with feelers and original parts. Oh well, this one real close paint ready. As for the larger tail I like it on the 924 turbo (saw a white one at Grimaldi's pizza LV).

odurandina, that avatar is going to get me into trouble at work if anyone sees it as I read threads you post on. So, I think I'll seek out other threads you've posted on.

Not sure about the current direction, but the last one was one of the best ever, IMHO.

I would also like a LeMans spoiler but i bet shipping would be a pain especially if it's one piece like the gt racing one.
