Default Need help identifying parts on my recently acquired 944T

Guys:
I picked this 87 Turbo up from a friend after it spent the last 7 years sitting on a lift in his garage. All this stuff was on the car when he bought it 10+ years ago. I want to remove it all and put back to stock for PCA Club Racing purposes. Have acquired a stock turbo, airbox, AFM etc.

Car has a full welded in cage. Just put a dash in it since that had been removed, and painted the cage red to match the exterior.

I am guessing it's Lindsey go fast stuff and that the car also has a bigger turbo. I haven't gotten the car up on a lift. has a nice stainless 3" straight pipe on it, coilovers on all four corners and some other nice bits. Any help identifying this stuff and ideas on what's it's worth will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

That aluminum thing under the hood is called a blow-off valve (or BOV).

I'm pretty sure the strut tower brace is by Racing Dynamics.

Van:
I understand that part , mainly want to identify whose it is. Way bigger than the little plastic one on a stock car.

Yes, same strut brace I had in my previous 86 N/A.

How big are the ports on that BOV? If they're big enough I might want it. I have a 951 bypass valve to trade...

That's a Godzilla bov and either a Huntley racing maf kit or a split second maf kit, pretty much junk in comparison to what's available now 10+ years later. The bov is still on, but the maf is not doing any good if yournrunning high boost pressures.

Yep, that looks like a Huntley Racing equipped car. The owner of Huntley Racing left without a word one day (subsequently surfaced in south america) and several folks said they were out of pocket for parts never delivered. Speedforce racing went into business shortly thereafter in or near the same facility, and Tim can probably give you chapter and verse on the parts you have. The ARC2 box is used to (crudely) control fuel. I'd guess the DME has Huntley or APE chips inside. It was a clunky arrangement but was the best available at the time for letting the car build power over the factory AFM limits. That adjustable FPR probably came from huntley too, and is prone to fail. Injectors are probably 55 lb after market injectors. Good chance you have an old DeltaGate wastegate also. They worked, but were much less sturdy than the new Tials.

Awesome feedback. Thanks guys!

ELLSSUU, I am going to keep the strut brace. Yep, there are aftermarket chips in the DME and KLR. Have stock ones for it. Wastegate, not sure what's there yet. The PO is a good friend, which is why I picked up the car. Was told I should keep the boost pipes on it, but wouldn't be able to use the stock airbox.
