Default sourcing trans x- member bolts

I have been to many stores but can't find those 2 bolts. I believe they are M10-1.75 bolts but can only find M10-1.5.

m10 is the diameter and the 1.75 is the thread pitch.

I haven't been able to find any. I will have to look at my brothers house in the 944S to see if I have 2 extra. I wanna say I do somewhere. This wouldn't have happened if the 2 old bolts wouldn't have snapped off in my red 951. I torched, pb blasted them, and they still broke. I will look tomorrow

Try a Do It Best hardware store. They are the only ones I've found who carry a wide array of that rare 1.75 pitch that Porsche fell in love with.

I think the bolts are 1.5 mm pitch. The only bolts I have in my bins that are 1.75 are the starter mount bolts. The factory bolts have a "self-tapping" starter, I guess because of the zinc and primer dip coating the weld nuts in the frame. If you've had a bolt in there before, you should just need a normal 8.8 grade bolt.

ok, I now find out that they are in fact M10 x 1.5 bolts. I am guessing that the one I was measuring ( it was broken but still had threads was either stretched to 1.75 or the previous owner put the wrong bolts in and that's why they broke. heading to the store soon. thank you all
