did you just cut the section of the shift lever off that slips through the shift rod and use a bolt with washers and a nut in place of the original part that likes to shape itself like an hour glass? did you use bushings with the install?

I like it. Put a MOMO shift **** in mine, thinking about going your route as well. It's the little things like this that really make a car feel like it was 'made' for you.

so just a bolt and a pair of thrust bearings? get the thrust washers from mc master carr?? what sizes of thrust bearing and bolt did you use? did you use the stainless thrust bearings? needle bearing or ball bearing units?
