ChumpCar from AZ
Here is our ChumpCar creation - The Guppy, running as Team Toofah. Couple of shots show her in the heat of battle at Streets of Willow last April, about 20 hours in. Came in 4th !!

Just stumbled across this thread. Some cool cars and great shots!
Since there's some sad before and after pics/stories I think mine qualifies. The car had been in the workshop since late 2010 getting 'built'. Had it finally out on Birthday weekend (April 21/22) and very much unsorted. Probably a combination of over enthusiasm, possible suspension issues, cold slicks, imbalanced aero, liquid on track, bumps...whatever...OUCH!
Harry, sorry to see yours in that condition. One of my favourites on the 'List.

Patrick, you know that yours has always been one of my favorites, even though it seems to change color a lot! Positively stunning in these "before the shunt" shots. Sorry to see it dinged, but I know you'll get it back into top shape.
For the heck of it, I don't think cold tires were the culprit, as this is after a few laps and they should be up to temp. I'm wondering if that lead car is dropping fluid, he sure seems to burn some oil. More important is a definite over correction on the steering, and a slow if not missing recovery from it.
Seems wierd to shift lefty, but I guess you're used to it...

Frank, firstly congrats on your title. Must have been all in the re-positioning of the seat!
As to my car. I think you're remembering my older Grey metallic one which was also a very nice looking car. R.I.P. Re the crash, a lot of various theories and speculation. I won't take up space in this thread but there was probably more than one cause. Hope that during the repairs we might find more solid information about it all.
